Where do you pick us up from?
Pickup is available from all hotels in Zanzibar. Kindly remember to put the preferred pick up location (hotel or residential address). You will be contacted after booking to to confirm exact pick up time.
Which aquarium will I visit?
It depends on your hotel’s location. Guests staying in the north or northeast are taken to Baraka Aquarium (Nungwi), while those staying in the south are taken to Salaam Aquarium (Kizimkazi). Both offer the same experience.
Are the turtles kept in captivity?
No, aquariums act as rescue sanctuaries. Fishermen bring in turtles caught by accident, and after being cared for, they are released back into the ocean.
